New in cinemas this week is highly-rated new romantic drama Call Me By Your Name, which arrives fresh from wowing critics at the London Film Festival. Detailing a passionate and unexpected romance between two young men, director Luca Guadagnino's picture is both a touching coming-of-age story about first love and an invitation to embrace and celebrate life.
Also released are Thor: Ragnarok, a colourful new Marvel adventure from Hunt for the Wilderpeople director Taiki Waititi, and Breathe, Andy Serkis' directorial debut, an emotional true story about a young man struck down with polio who refuses to be limited by his condition and inspired change in the treatment of disabled people around the world.

Gifted's charming cast help it deal with some difficult topics (such as the loss of a parent) in an accessible way.
