Eric Fellner, CBE — Into Film Chair

Co-Chairman of Working Title Films

Eric Fellner is the Co-Chairman ofWorking Title Films with partner Tim Bevan. Together they have made more than130 films that have grossed over $8.5 billion worldwide. Their projects havewon 14 Academy Awards (for Joe Wright's Darkest Hour, Tom Hooper's TheDanish Girl, James Marsh's The Theory of Everything, Tom Hooper's LesMisérables, Joe Wright's Anna Karenina, Tim Robbins' DeadMan Walking; Joel and Ethan Coen's Fargo; Shekhar Kapur's Elizabeth and Elizabeth:The Golden Age; and Joe Wright's Atonement), 10 Golden Globes,over 40 BAFTA Awards and numerous prestigious prizes at the Cannes and BerlinInternational Film Festivals. 

Fellner has been honoured with the Producers Guild of America's David O. Selznick Achievement Award in Theatrical Motion Pictures, the PGA's highest honour for motion picture producers. Jointly with Tim, Eric has been accorded two of the highest film awards given to British filmmakers; the Michael Balcon Award for Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema, at the Orange British Academy Film [BAFTA] Awards, and the Alexander Walker Film Award at the Evening Standard British Film Awards. They have also both been honored with CBEs (Commanders of the Order of the British Empire).

Barbara Broccoli

Barbara Broccoli is a film and theatre producer. In film, she is primarily recognised as a producer with Michael G. Wilson of the James Bond films and as proprietors of EON Productions Ltd., a film production company founded by their father, the late Albert R. Broccoli, in 1961. Broccoli and Wilson produced GoldenEye together, followed by the next eight Bond films: Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough, Die Another Day, Casino Royale, Quantum Of Solace, Skyfall, Spectre and No Time To Die.

Broccoli has produced and executive produced several independent film projects including The Rhythm Section, The Silent Storm, Radiator, Nancy, Film Stars Don't Die In Liverpool and Till.

Broccoli has produced a number of successful stage productions in the USA and London, including Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, A Steady Rain, Once (winner of 8 Tony Awards, including Best Musical), Othello, The Band's Visit (winner of 10 Tony Awards, including Best Musical) Cyprus Avenue, ear for eye, Macbeth and Sing Street.

Broccoli is Vice President for Film at British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) and President of the National Youth Theatre Great Britain. In 2014, Broccoli and Wilson were honoured by the Producers Guild of America with the David O. Selznick Achievement Award in Theatrical Motion Pictures. In 2008 Broccoli was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) and in 2022 she was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE). In June 2022 Broccoli and Wilson were awarded BFI Fellowships, the highest honour bestowed by the BFI.

Col Needham is the founder and CEO of IMDb, the world's most popular and authoritative source for information on movies, TV, and celebrities. Col has had a lifelong interest in both technology and films and, after starting a computer games software business at the age of 14, he went on to complete a computer science degree at Leeds University before commencing a career in technology research, publishing the first version of IMDb online in October 1990.

Col is a board member of Film Independent and, in 2014, he received Creative Coalition Independent Spotlight award for his work to support independent filmmaking. Col has been a jury member for leading film festivals around the world, including the Mumbai Film Festival, the Sundance Film Festival, SXSW, and the Tribeca Film Festival. Col was awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Bristol in 2018.

Lisa Bryer

Lisa Bryer, OBE

Producer and Founder of Cowboy Films

Lisa Bryer started work within the film industry in the 1980s, working for Tony Palmer on Wagner. She then set up her own company, Cowboy Films. Lisa is a trustee of Action on Addiction, was a governor for six years of the Westside school, and is co-founder of The London Screen Academy.

Having set up Cowboy Films with director Tim Pope, between them they made more than 300 music videos for bands and artists like The Cure, David Bowie, Talk Talk, and The The. 

The company expanded into making commercials with award-winning directors; short films, including Andrea Arnold's oscar winning Wasp; and feature films, including the BAFTA and Oscar® winning The Last King of Scotland.

John Graydon, Trustee

John Graydon

John provides specialist advice on accessing film and television financing opportunities in the UK and overseas. John's list of clients includes many significant members of the international film and television community. These include Universal Studios, Lucasfilm, Disney/Marvel, Paramount, Working Title, Lionsgate and Warner Bros. to name a few.

During his career, John has been involved in advising on hundreds of films, including more recently No Time to Die, Thirteen Lives, Cruella, Pinocchio, Death on the Nile and See How They Run. Away from the cut and thrust of the commercial world, John has been a mainstay of film policy in the UK for a number of years, advising both the UK government and key strategic film agencies

Nira Park

Nira Park founded award-winning UK film and television production company Big Talk in 1995. She departed in July 2018 to launch a new production company, Complete Fiction Pictures with long-term friends and collaborators Edgar Wright, Joe Cornish and Rachael Prior. Complete Fiction is focused on providing a vibrant home for brilliant creative people who share their passion for original movies and television

Park is known for her collaborations with Edgar Wright, having produced all of his work over the past two decades. Their partnership began with the award-winning television series Spaced and continued with the cult comedy Shaun of the Dead, for which Park received a BAFTA Outstanding Debut Award nomination. The film was the first instalment of Wright's iconic ‘Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy' (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, The World's End). Park went on to produce Wright's Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and Baby Driver. Their latest productions together are Wright's first feature documentary The Sparks Brothers and Last Night in Soho, which they produced with long-term producing partners, Working Title, for Focus Features and Film4.

Park has also worked closely with Joe Cornish over the years, their relationship beginning with the SXSW Audience Award-winning and BAFTA Outstanding Debut-nominated feature Attack the Block (the sequel of which they are currently developing alongside John Boyega) and more recently his action-adventure movie The Kid Who Would Be King. Joe and Nira are currently in post-production on Lockwood & Co., an 8 x 60' supernatural action-adventure series for Netflix, based on the best-selling novels by Jonathan Stroud. The series, due to be released at the start of 2023, marks Complete Fiction's first foray into television.

In addition to her work with Wright and Cornish, Nira has produced: Greg Mottola's Paul; Ben Wheatley's multi-award-winning black comedy Sightseers; Jeremy Lovering's critically acclaimed psychological horror In Fear; romantic comedies Cuban Fury and Man Up; Sacha Baron Cohen's Grimsby and more recently Ben Wheatley's adaptation of Daphne du Maurier's Rebecca with Working Title, for Netflix.

Park has also produced numerous television series and award-winning documentaries including all three series of BAFTA-winning sitcom Black Books, as well as Free Agents for Channel 4. Park also acted as executive producer on the US adaptation of Free Agents for NBC and was an executive producer on award-winning comedy Friday Night Dinner and the BAFTA award-winning Him & Her.

Anne Mensah, Into Film Trustee

Prior to joining Netflix, Anne was Director of Drama and Sky Studios at Sky UK. Before joining Sky, Anne served as Head of Independent Drama at the BBC as well as Head of Drama for BBC Scotland. Anne has commissioned a wide variety of internationally acclaimed dramas such as the BBC's Wallander with Kenneth Branagh, BAFTA award winning Patrick Melrose starring Benedict Cumberbatch for Sky/Showtime, John Ridley's political drama Guerrilla as well as BAFTA and Emmy award winning Sky/HBO drama, Chernobyl.

Currently, Anne is an Independent Governor and Chair of the Diversity Committee at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Chair of the RTS Craft Awards 2020 as well as sitting on the Board of ScreenSkills, a UK based charity dedicated to training in the television and film sector. She is a member of the 2018 Class of Henry Crown Fellows within the Aspen Global Leadership Network at the Aspen Institute.

Gráinne McKenna is a partner in the Film & TV Group at the specialist media law firm Wiggin LLP. She has over twenty years' experience in film and television production and exploitation, both within law firms and leading production companies. She provides strategic business affairs and legal advice on all aspects of film and television production, financing and exploitation.

Prior to joining Wiggin Gráinne was SVP Business Affairs at Working Title Films and then Head of Business Affairs within NBCUniversal International Productions. Gráinne's breadth of expertise enables her to represent a wide range of clients, from major US film and television studios (such as Paramount, Sony, Universal, Focus Features etc.) to mini-majors and independent film and TV production companies (such as ViacomCBS, eOne, Bad Wolf, Carnival, ABC Signature, Working Title and many more).

Danielle Lewis-Egonu is the CEO of Cygnus Academies Trust (AMulti Academy Trust made up of schools across London and the south east). She has worked for nearly two decades in Education across London, Essex and Kent schools and has a passion for school improvement, inclusion, professional development of teachers and curriculum development.

She is the co-author of the NAHT's You Are Not Alone: Leaders for Race Equality book and is a Unit Award Scheme coordinator, responsible for running an AQA accreditation centre, where she delivers and writes units for children and adults.

Most recently she has started work with the Department of Education regarding the Statement of Intent for a diverse teaching workforce and is developing modules for teacher training and early-career teachers as part of this work.

She is skilled in transforming high potential staff into outstanding leaders who demonstrate the creativity and reflectiveness that is critical to leadership. Lisa is an ardent supporter of stimulating learning opportunities that engage learners.

Elizabeth Mitchell, Into FIlm Trustee

Elizabeth Mitchell

Head of Skills for the Creative Industries at the Department of Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS

Elizabeth Mitchell is currently Head of Cultural Property at the Department of Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), ) leading on a diverse policyportfolio including restitution and spoliation, UK art market engagement andinternational trade - including illicit trade - in cultural goods. She previously worked in the Creative Industries teams at DCMS covering, amongst other things, the growthof talent pipelines into the creative sector, BFI sponsorship and Creative Europe MEDIA.

Before becoming a civil servant, Elizabeth worked in the creative industries for 20 years, including publishing at Thames & Hudson, four years in Los Angeles working on music videos and feature films, and producing online advertising campaigns for Saatchi & Saatchi.

During this time, she pioneered various talent development schemes including executive producing over 50 shorts through Film London's Southern Exposure Film Fund and producing Nisi Masa's Istanbul Express for EU Capital of Culture.

Judith Chan, Into Film Trustee

Judith Chan

Judith Chan is an Executive Director in the Media Banking Office at Coutts & Co, banker to the creative industries. She heads up its business development for the team, originating new business, developing new products and specialises in structuring film and television debt transactions, working withindependents, studios and streamers.

Judith has over twenty-five years' experience in media financing, starting her career at an investment bank in Los Angeles where she spearheaded the Bank's involvement with the independent film and television sectors, followed by an investment and advisory firm where she managed three equity funds principally investing in film and television content, and over 15 years with the Media team at Coutts. Judith works across the sectors from the independents to the studios, broadcasters and streamers.

Judith is currently a Trustee of Film London, The National Film and Television School Foundation, The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art is and a Development Board member of the National Youth Theatre.

Veronika Kwan Vandenberg, Into Film Trustee

Veronika Kwan Vandenberg

President of Distribution for Universal Pictures International (UPI

Veronika Kwan Vandenberg is President of Distribution for Universal Pictures International (UPI). Based in Los Angeles, Kwan Vandenberg leads the international theatrical organization and overseas the theatrical distribution strategy for Universal Pictures, DreamWorks Animation, Focus Features and UPI's international production and acquisition titles. Since joining the company, she has shepherded seven of the top eleven International MPA films since the pandemic, including the top two animation titles. In 2023, UPI dominated the international box office as the number one Studio of the year, with three of the top four films with The Super Mario Bros Movie, Oppenheimer and Fast X.

Prior to joining Universal, Kwan Vandenberg served as President, International Distribution at Warner Bros. Pictures for 18 years. Through her tenure with Warner Bros., Kwan Vandenberg oversaw the studio's biggest years at the international box office and shepherded many of Warner Bros.' most iconic film brands, including the Harry Potter films, Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight trilogy and Peter Jackson's The Hobbit series, amongst many others.

Kwan Vandenberg is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts and has recently joined the boards of Into Film and WIF. With a strong belief in mentorship Kwan Vandenberg has mentored female professionals throughout her career at WB and Universal and been a two-time mentor in Women In Entertainment's mentorship program with THR and BBBSLA.
