After the screening, you will meet James Hunter whose credits as a Production Coordinator include The Fantastic Four: First Steps, House of the Dragon and The King's Man. James will share how he started his film career in his hometown of Liverpool as he explores his career progression, the different job roles he has done on set and what they entail. James will also let your pupils in on some behind the scenes secrets of how these films most impressive stunts and special effects actually happen. Throughout the session, James will set the students short interactive tasks to help them put into action the skills needed to work on a film set. We hope that students will leave feeling inspired to explore screen careers and excited to know more about the work that goes into their favourite films.

Jurassic World: Rebirth

Synopsis

Decades after the original Jurassic Park, a theme park/safari hybrid centered around genetically engineered dinosaurs, ended in catastrophe, corporations are still trying to exploit the scientific breakthrough that resulted in their collision with human civilization. A team of highly skilled operatives, including the industrious Zora Bennett, are hired to visit “the most dangerous place on earth” - an island used as the breeding grounds for the original park. Tasked with the mission of extracting genetic material that may provide life-saving benefits to mankind, they soon realise that the risk might outweigh the reward – before a shocking and sinister discovery changes everything. Awe-inspiring dinosaur action blends with contemporary scientific theory in this addition to one of cinema’s most popular box-office franchises.
