Film reviewing can be an excellent tool to help boost literacy, and adds an extra educational element to attending our Spring Screenings. Once you've attended a screening, encourage your students to flex their English, comprehension and analytical skills, and write 300 words about the film they've seen.

This year's Spring Screenings take place between 6-27 March 2026, and bookings are now live. All screenings and events are completely free, and many will fill up quickly, so be sure to secure your places as soon as possible! Our Spring Screenings programme is open to all UK schools and home educators.

This year we will look to reward five young review writers in the following age brackets:

  • Primary - age 5-8
  • Primary - age 9-11
  • Secondary - age 11-13
  • Secondary - age 14-15
  • Secondary - age 16-19

The winners will each receive £100 worth of vouchers for them and their class to enjoy. Entries can be submitted via email or free-post. See the entry form below for further details on how to enter - just don't forget to tell us the name of the film you're reviewing on the form!
