It is a very scary movie and I do recommend it. I like the idea of Jack Nicholson axing the door because that makes the movie much as more scarier as it was supposed to be. A lot of people think the two twins in corridor are quite freaky but I think it's just ridiculous. They should of deleted that scene I think. I don't think Jack Nicholson's character should be a writer. I think he should be a man that got offered a job at a hotel. The corpse in the bathtub is quite scary to be honest because I would be terrified if I found a dead corpse in my bathtub. The blood scene is not really good to be put in that movie. But the axing door and scene and the corpse in the bathtub scene are both great.

The most famous, and possibly the most tense, of the films of suspense master Hitchcock, in which a woman is stuck in a remote hotel in a storm.

Visually rich, creepy Korean horror, based on a folktale, about a girl returning from hospital after her mother's death to a seemingly haunted home.
