The worlds of film and literature have long been intertwined, each with the ability to open up the other in remarkable ways. We believe that film can be used as an aid for furthering engagement and understanding in all areas, but lends itself particularly well to the development of students' literacy. The films selected in this list are particularly successful adaptations of classic children's literature, as well as modern must-reads that are popular among primary school learners.
