Synopsis

In this much-loved family classic, tearaway foster child Jesse is caught one day vandalising a marine theme park. The authorities agree not to press charges if Jesse repairs the damage he has caused. While cleaning up at the park, he comes into contact with Willy the killer whale, and the two form a special bond as the lad finds that he can connect with the traumatised animal on a level that his captors can't. However, when it looks like the park has no more use for Willy, Jesse embarks on a race against time to save his new friend...

What our educators say

"We are currently screening The Wizard of Oz, profound film that it is, and the last film Wall-E. It's been rewarding observing the KS1 6 year olds run the gamut of emotions from wonder to sadness to joy. "
