Synopsis

Young Chicken Little scares everyone in town by running around claiming that the sky must be falling - because he's just been hit on the head by a piece of it! When it turns out that what hit him was actually a traffic sign, Chicken becomes a laughing stock, and is left as something of an outcast at school. But a year later, when another "piece of sky" falls on him, it turns out to have been caused by an alien spaceship, whose occupants are planning to invade earth - and as no-one would believe them if he told them about it, Chicken and his handful of misfit pals are the only ones who can save the planet!

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."

- Marlon Perkins, Teacher, Whitstable and Seasalter Endowed CofE Junior School, Kent
