Synopsis

This light animation takes the story of Noah’s Ark and imagines what occurs when two fictional furry animals, Finny and Leah, accidently fall off the boat and are stranded at sea. When a storm separates the two small creatures, they turn their bad luck into an opportunity to try to help the animals back on the Ark who are struggling from a food shortage. Encountering a magical island and a colony of animals that look just like them, the two work together to create a new home suitable for their friends. This funny and colorful tale is a good introduction to the story of Noah for very young audiences while it also offers themes on animal behaviour and friendship.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."
