Based on the book by Dr Seuss - the creator of The Cat in the Hat and The Grinch - this cheery animated tale tells the story of Horton the elephant. He's going about his business when he hears a cry for help, which seems to be coming from a tiny bit of dirt - but is actually the microscopic home of the citizens of Whoville. Despite the disbelief of others, Horton decides he must help the Whos even though he can't see them - after all, as he says: "A person is a person, no matter how small."
1941 Disney classic about an elephant with unusually large ears.
