In this follow up to the delightful Minuscule: Valley of the Lost Ants, an adventurous young ladybird and his best friend, a clumsy ant, make an odd couple but are always there for each other whenever help is needed. When the ladybird is accidentally shipped away in a cardboard box to the Caribbean, the ant must get an insect team together and sets out to rescue him, braving this entirely new tropical world. This visually inventive animation blends both live action and animation, without any dialogue, to tell a colourful and immersive tale of courage, friendship within the natural world.
