Synopsis

After being caught speeding, Daniel risks losing the taxi licence that he's only just secured. He's given one chance to keep it, by agreeing to serve as the driver for a cop desperate to catch a gang of robbers who make their super-fast getaways in a distinctive Mercedes. This is all just a set-up for the real substance of this slight, but at times exhilarating film - a succession of sensational car chases in and around Marseilles.

What our educators say

"Some of them saw a clip from Wakolda (The German Doctor) on TV recently and really wanted to watch it. So I thought I’d take a chance, not expecting them to watch the whole film but the majority were absolutely gripped. "
