This screening will be preceded by a youth-made short film which has been produced by a local group of young people as part of Into Film's Every Child a Filmmaker programme, generously supported by Amazon MGM Studios. Every Child a Filmmaker is an inclusive programme providing groups of young people around the UK with the opportunity to work with professional filmmakers and bring their stories to life through film.

Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael and Donatello are four teenage brothers who live in the sewers of New York City with their father, sheltered from the human world…because they are mutant turtles with incredible ninja skills. Although they have each other, the youngsters crave a life in the city and acceptance from its people so, when they befriend a plucky young journalist named April O'Neil, things seem to be looking up. However, a mysterious crime syndicate begins to cause mayhem across the city and the turtles soon discover that they are made up of dangerous mutants who are out to wreak as much havoc as possible. This new adaptation of the beloved Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is the first to cast actual teenagers in the main voice roles as well as adopting a unique animation style to tell its chaotic story of brotherly love and acceptance.
