A film guide that looks at The Swimmers (2022), a drama based on the true story of two teenage sisters who out their professional swimming skills into action when crossing the Mediterranean Sea to escape the war in their home country, Syria.
This guide is useful for exploring subjects including Geography and Physical Education in addition to highlighting themes surrounding sporting events, refugees and immigration, gender representation and family.
