This resource is to help you, your students or youth group get the most out of the unique cinema experience of attending an Into Film Festival screening.

We have created this guide, which includes some quick and easy-to-use discussion tools for before and after any film screening. The activities will get young people thinking about their Festival film in a variety of ways and will spark some lively discussions that will enhance their understanding and appreciation of film. As they dig deeper into the film and the cinema experience, young people will also have the opportunity to voice their personal opinions about a range of topics associated with film and the cinema.

Updating our resources

We have developed a large catalogue of educational resources since launching in 2013, and some references and terminology will inevitably have dated as society and language evolves. We are aware of this and will be updating resources when our production schedule allows.

What our educators say

"I think that our work on ‘The Girl and the Fox’ has really benefitted our children. I would thoroughly recommend the Into Film approach to any school wanting to improve attainment in literacy."
