Our January update of new short films available to watch instantly for free on Into Film+ features two collaborative collections of LGBTQ+ content plus 17 more of our existing shorts.
Based in Cardiff, the Iris Prize is an LGBT+ short film festival which celebrates and champions LGBTQ+ titles and filmmakers. Into Film is pleased to partner with Iris Prize to curate this collection of short films which explores gender and sexuality, specifically trans characters and issues.
The five titles - from the UK, US, Ireland, and the Netherlands - focus on youth-centred themes including family relationships, friendships, and growing up.
A resource exploring the titles in greater depth titled Gender, Sexuality and Trans Inclusion is also available to download.
Peccadillo Pictures are the leading UK distributor of LGBTQ+ films. We have teamed up with them to curate a collection of shorts which chronicle aspects of the LGBTQ+ experience in Britain and around the world.
The six titles - from the UK, US, and Denmark - focus on youth-centred issues including coming out, young romance, bullying, as well as providing a celebration of queer representation.
As well as these collections, there are a further 17 of our short films now available to watch immediately on Into Film+. These productions come from all around the world - from Australia to the Netherlands - and are presented in a variety of genres and styles. The titles are suitable for all audiences, and cover a range of topics and issues including migration, social media, film history, the education system, and anti-bullying.
