Synopsis

A happy middle-aged couple are stuck on finding the perfect boys' name. Each one suggested they feel is either too outdated, too feminine or just not quite right. As they go about their daily lives they continue to throw suggestions at each – but for just who is this name for? This comedic French language short raises questions about gender and societal expectations.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."

- Marlon Perkins, Teacher, Whitstable and Seasalter Endowed CofE Junior School, Kent
