Into Film Clubs
Find out everything you need to know about starting an Into Film Club.
We are always looking to involve more teachers in our programme, so are very excited to announce our search for twenty new Education Ambassadors.
The Into Film Education Ambassadors are a group of distinguished educators from across the UK that provide advice, insights, and feedback that help shape the Into Film offer.
This core group of film loving education experts meet at least three times a year in their respective regional groups to share opinions, best practice and engage in professional development opportunities. They are also advocates in promoting the value of film education and the Into Film offer amongst their peers and wider communities.
As part of our UK-wide search for new ambassadors, we will be holding a free online information event on Tuesday 10 May at 4.15-5pm. Inclusion and diversity are key to the work we do and we recognise that some groups are under-represented within our Education Ambassador scheme, including people from ethnic and other minority groups, those who live with a disability and applicants from the LGBTQ+ community. Applications to the Education Ambassador programme are free to all, but to ensure we encourage as diverse a group of candidates as possible, this event is specifically aimed at those who identify as members of these groups, and those who have teaching experience with young people who identify as members of these groups. Head to eventbrite to sign up and if you'd like to know more about Into Film's Equity, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion work, you can contact our Head of Programme Delivery, Anna Galer at anna.rankin@intofilm.org
Meanwhile, to hear directly about the programme from our current Education Ambassadors, we recently published nine teacher case studies that explore the many ways that the scheme can benefit both you and your students:
We'll be providing more information about how to apply after the online information event on 10 May, so watch this space for then.
