The Film & TV Educators Network webinar series, in partnership with Into Film, highlights key roles in the UK screen industries facing skills shortages, providing invaluable insights for teachers and careers advisors looking to enrich their curriculum and guide students into in-demand careers. Each session focuses on a different role or department, bringing together a panel of educators, as well as early-career and senior industry experts.
Date: Wednesday 3 December 2025, 16:30-17:30
This session is aimed at film/media teachers, careers advisors, and hair and beauty educators. Whether your students dream of working behind the scenes or simply want to develop a more rounded understanding of all aspects of screen storytelling, this session is for you.
Date: Wednesday 10 December 2025, 16:30-17:30
This free session will focus on production management in unscripted television, programmes which don't start with a script and focus on real people (rather than actors). This includes reality television, documentaries, game shows and factual entertainment.
In this session, students will get the chance to hear from a panel of speakers who are early in their career in animation, film & TV, VFX or games. They will be discussing their trials and tribulations, what they love most about the industry and what drives them. Discover what it's really like to work in screen and gain insight into different pathways into the industry.
