If you're new to our News & Views page welcome! In this edition, we bring you the latest updates, events, and resources to help you and the young people you support explore careers in the screen industries.
At Into Film, we are committed to expanding the reach and impact of our screen careers programme, regularly inviting schools from across the UK to take part in our events. When hosting an event, we strive to make it as accessible as possible by offering travel bursaries where available. We particularly encourage participation from schools and colleges in disadvantaged or under-served areas, as well as students from specialist settings, including post-16 colleges for young people with autism and SEND.
If you'd like to learn more or discuss how we can support your students, please get in touch. We remain dedicated to breaking down barriers and creating opportunities for young people to enter the screen industry.

Our latest Into Film Cymru Ambassador: Swansea-born, BAFTA-award winning writer/director, Sally El Hosaini (The Swimmers; My Brother the Devil; Babylon) champions film education and accessibility for all.
Being an Into Film Cymru Ambassador is an honour and incredibly meaningful for me. Film has the power to inspire, challenge, and open up new worlds, and I know first-hand how important it is for young people to see themselves reflected on screen and to believe that a career in film is within their reach. Into Film does such vital work in nurturing the next generation of filmmakers and storytellers and I'm thrilled to support their mission.
Into Film Cymru Ambassador, Sally El Hosaini
At an event in Wales the award-winning writer/director discussed the filmmaking process, equal representation and the power of female storytelling on film with host, Elemchi Nwosu (I Am Igbo), a presenter and documentary filmmaker for BBC Wales. The event was part of Into Film Cymru's ongoing work to increase access and diversity in the screen industry, supporting more young women and disadvantaged groups to enter the creative industries sector.
