Synopsis

Shaun is coasting along in life, working a dead-end job and hanging out with the same old deadbeat friend, Ed, at the grubby local pub. But after his girlfriend dumps him, his dreary existence gets a sudden sharp wake-up call as he is faced with a full blown zombie apocalypse on his London doorstep. Survival mode kicks in, and he and a ramshackle group of friends try and get themselves to safest place they know - the pub. This morbid comedy is an affectionate homage to the zombie genre, filled with ludicrous fight scenes, endearing characters and memorable one-liners.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."
