A truly classic comedy about washed-up Broadway producer Max Bialystock, who convinces his meek accountant, Leo Bloom, to help him put on a doomed Nazi-themed musical called Springtime for Hitler. The "genius" of Max's scheme is that by ensuring that the show closes after its first night, he and Leo are left to pocket the investors' money. So it's in their interests to help create the most outrageously awful production in stage history - and it's the stuff of nightmares (for them at least) when their terrible show unexpectedly becomes a huge success!
This film has a couple of uses of mild bad language and contains mild sex references and violence.
