Monty Python's take on the Arthurian legend has entered comedy folklore. When the King of the Britons leads his knights on a quest for the titular relic, they encounter all forms of silliness - including the Knights who say "ni", the belligerent Black Knight who fights on even after losing all his limbs and a vicious killer rabbit. Add to this director Terry Jones's scholarly eye for the medieval and the surreal animation of his co-director Terry Gilliam and you have a gloriously funny spoof-epic.
This film has a couple of uses of moderate bad language, moderate sex references and comic violence.
