Synopsis

Having been home-schooled in Africa her whole life, Cady is excited but nervous to attend an American high school. When it comes to the unwritten rules of teenage social life, she is very naïve, but luckily she has new friends to show her the way. But are they actually her friends? The school hallways may be more similar to jungle life than expected, where only the fittest survive through much back-stabbing and power struggles. When Cady falls for the on-off boyfriend of the most popular girl in school, she has to brace herself for her sly and vicious tactics. But is Cady slowly turning into a mean girl, too? This smart and funny comedy was based on a real-life manual to help parents deal with "Queen Bees and Wannabes" in their children's lives.

What our educators say

"We are currently screening The Wizard of Oz, profound film that it is, and the last film Wall-E. It's been rewarding observing the KS1 6 year olds run the gamut of emotions from wonder to sadness to joy. "
