Why We Fight: The Battle of Britain is one of a series of short films each made by the legendary Hollywood movie-maker Frank Capra during World War II. They were commissioned with the aim of encouraging the American people to throw their weight behind a US military presence in the conflict. This specific film explores the efforts of the Royal Air Force during ferocious air battles above Britain; many of which would proved crucial to ending the 6 year war.
