Synopsis

A beautiful, simple tale set in the central Asian country of Mongolia. The story begins when young Nansal returns to her family from school, and later finds a small black-and-white stray dog in a cave who she soon calls Zochor ("Spot"). But her father - a farmer who raises the livestock the family depend on for survival - tells her to get rid of the new addition, fearing that his scent will attract wolves. In the days that follow Nansal tries everything she can to keep hold of the endearing mutt. The film mixes a sweet but realistic storyline with spectacular scenery.
