Antwone Fisher is a sailor with the US navy - whose temper has left him on the brink of being thrown out of the service. But when he's finally persuaded to speak with a psychiatrist, the truth of who he is and why he has such anger inside him pours out. Based on the true life story of the writer (who was working as a security guard at a Hollywood studio before the film was made), Antwone Fisher has important things to say about the effect that the past has on us, and how we can break free of it.
Contains childhood trauma and infrequent strong language.
