A down-on-his-luck ex-footballer meets Shaolin monk Sing, who is looking to spread the word about traditional fighting skills. The footballer gets the bright idea to train Sing and his five brothers so they can combine soccer-skills with kung-fu on the pitch and vie for a $1 million tournament prize. But can their light feet and fast moves defeat the reigning champions? This blend of comedy, kung-fu action and sport is one of kind - and will amuse even those who think they don't like either football or martial arts!
Set in 1940s China, Kung Fu Hustle is an energetic, special-effects laden martial arts film with a sense of humour.
