Synopsis

Fast-paced and full of energy, Nine Queens is much like the city in which it is set - the Argentine capital of Buenos Aries. Marcos and Juan, a pair of con-men, meet by chance at a convenience store one morning, and from there become partners in crime. Soon, they both have a once-in-a-lifetime chance to make millions after being asked to sell a set of incredibly rare stamps: The Nine Queens. But the stamps are forgeries - and the question of who is conning who is never far away in this fine comedy-thriller.

What our educators say

"Some of them saw a clip from Wakolda (The German Doctor) on TV recently and really wanted to watch it. So I thought I’d take a chance, not expecting them to watch the whole film but the majority were absolutely gripped. "
