Synopsis

If you love martial arts you should definitely catch this spectacular film set in China in the early 19th Century. Superb action sequences and amazing cinematography combine with an exciting plot concerning Green Destiny, a 400-year-old sword, owned by Li Mu Bai. Li is about to retire - but before he does he wishes to avenge the death of his master, who was killed by Jade Fox. Li enlists the help of fellow warrior Yu Shu Lien, who is tasked with transporting Green Destiny safely to the home of a nobleman, whose daughter Jen is inspired by the warrior lifestyle. When the sword is stolen by a mysterious thief, the investigation into its disappearance creates further complications for the mission- but may provide clues into the whereabouts of Jade Fox.
