Synopsis

Babe - the pig who thinks he's a sheepdog - is back. Still glowing from his victory in the shepherding contest of the first film, life is good for the cute little pig. However, all that changes when Farmer Arthur Hoggett is seriously hurt in a farming accident. Faced with losing the farm, Farmer Hoggett doesn't know what to do - but Babe has other ideas, and heads to the big (and often dangerous) city to raise money to save the farm. Darker in tone than the original, this sequel is still a wonderful and ultimately heart-warming tale, with Babe himself every bit as loveable as ever.

What our educators say

"We are currently screening The Wizard of Oz, profound film that it is, and the last film Wall-E. It's been rewarding observing the KS1 6 year olds run the gamut of emotions from wonder to sadness to joy. "
