The inhabitants of the retro-futuristic planet Earth-828 are protected by a group of special astronauts known as the Fantastic Four, who have superhuman abilities after being exposed to cosmic rays during a space mission. Their names are Reed Richards a.k.a. the super-stretchy Mister Fantastic, his wife Sue Storm, also known as Invisible Woman, her brother Johnny Storm, whose fire powers earned him the pseudonym Human Torch, and Reed’s best friend Ben Grimm, a.k.a. the thick-skinned Thing. Sue and Reed are expecting a child, who is also expected to have immense superpowers. When their world is threatened by the planet-devouring cosmic entity Galactus and his herald, the Silver Surfer, the Fantastic Four must travel into space to try and stop him. However, they learn that the future of humanity depends on a very personal sacrifice. This superhero action adventure from the Marvel Cinematic Universe is full of heart, and has a charming nostalgic aesthetic reflecting the original 1960s comic books.
