After the disbandment of superhero team The Avengers, a new hero called Sam Wilson, once known as The Falcon, picks up the mantle of Captain America, tasked to protect civilisation from powerful adversaries. Upon meeting with newly elected President of the United States Thaddeus Ross, Sam finds himself in the middle of an international incident, during which an attempt is made on the President’s life. Sam’s military mentor, Isaiah Bradley, is apprehended. Suspecting that someone has framed him, Sam must try and clear his friend's name and stop an evil mastermind, drawing on his aerial combat background and investigative skills. Exploring themes of war and politics, comic book characters and moral quests, this thrilling new instalment of the superhero franchise is a continuation of Marvel Studios' series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
