Synopsis

This much anticipated sequel sees the family retreating to a more ordinary life after losing the public’s trust due to damages made on their previous missions. However, all that changes when Elastigirl is recruited by a communications company hoping to make superheroes popular again. As a compromise, Mr Incredible stays at home to look after the kids: super-speedy Dash, invisible Violet and baby Jack-Jack who is discovering his superpowers. While he struggles to keep everything under control, Elastigirl is faced with The Screenslaver, a villain and mysterious force who is hijacking screens and brainwashing people into crime. They must come together, along with a new array of superheroes with unusual talents, to defeat this powerful force. This triumphant return to the screen is packed with action and humour, while also fundamentally being a film about family and transitions.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."
