Synopsis

A lonely falcon named Kai leaves his overprotective father and the deserted African plain they live on to join the bird paradise of Zambezia. He quickly makes friends in the bustling colony, but the harmony of his new home is threatened when a group of sneaky Marabou birds and a dangerous lizard try and take over. With a combination of vibrant colours and a lively African soundtrack this film blends an important message of community and learning to work as a team.

What our educators say

"Some of them saw a clip from Wakolda (The German Doctor) on TV recently and really wanted to watch it. So I thought I’d take a chance, not expecting them to watch the whole film but the majority were absolutely gripped. "
