Peter Parker is coming towards the end of his time in high-school, still struggling with his various responsibilities and dilemmas as an everyday teenager, as well as those that come with being a crime-fighting superhero! In this film he comes across various new foes, led by Electro, a lonely electrical engineer at OsCorp with an obsessive interest in Spider-Man and victim of a particularly nasty accident. Thanks to his friend Harry Osborn, Peter also learns more about his father’s past, but it soon becomes clear that Harry is dealing with problems of his own - which could have potentially disastrous consequences. This explosive sequel ups the ante in every way, balancing a wide range of characters and storylines with confidence and benefitting from an impressive cast across the board. However like the first film, it is the sweet on/off romance between Peter and Gwen Stacy that remains at its heart.
Contains moderate violence, threat and mild language.
