Synopsis

An ambitious garden snail chases a big dream in this amusing animated comedy. Obsessed with speed, underdog Turbo is desperate to compete in the world's most famous race, the Indy 500. Unfortunately, his ultra-slow pace makes this an impossible wish; until, one day, a freak accident leaves the mollusc with the super-swiftness he craves. Now as fast as a bullet, Turbo gets to prove his new talent when he and his brother, Chet, are captured by a snail-racing human who sets him on an amazing adventure. With attractive visuals and a great voice cast, this heart-warming celebration of family, friendship and being yourself is simply plotted but lots of fun - especially for younger club members.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."

- Marlon Perkins, Teacher, Whitstable and Seasalter Endowed CofE Junior School, Kent
