Synopsis

Following in the steps of Street Dance and its sequel, this feel-good British musical comedy sees two teenage friends get a dance group together and stage a talent show in a bid to rescue their much-loved youth club hangout from being demolished by bulldozers. The plucky, resourceful crew encounters many obstacles along the way amid gags and lively street dance sequences enhanced with traditional ballroom – and martial arts! This energetic and entertaining modern-day fable is set in an idealised version of London where noble intentions are sure to save the day.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."

- Marlon Perkins, Teacher, Whitstable and Seasalter Endowed CofE Junior School, Kent
