Synopsis
A comic horror loosely based on Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, this adaptation of Isaac Marion's novel sees the world struggling to fight off an epidemic of flesh-eating zombies, believed to be unthinking and incapable of remorse. But some of the undead do seem to have something of a conscience, including R, who develops a profound attraction to live human Julie, the daughter of one of the leaders of the anti-zombie movement. As they get to know each other, Julie uncovers the humanity that lingers in R’s heart.
