Synopsis

When Beca arrives at Barden University, she plans to keep a low profile, wary of the culture of casual nastiness and ultra-competitiveness. However, when she accidentally lets slip she can sing, she is recruited by the Bellas - an a capella singing group. Through her involvement in their efforts to beat their male counterparts in the campus music competition, Beca finds friendship, respect and self-confidence. She helps the group members to not only freshen up their repertoire, but also find new ways to stamp their own individual identities on the performance. Musical comedy with humour, drama and plenty of girl power!

What our educators say

"We are currently screening The Wizard of Oz, profound film that it is, and the last film Wall-E. It's been rewarding observing the KS1 6 year olds run the gamut of emotions from wonder to sadness to joy. "
