Synopsis

If you and your mates developed super powers, how would you use them? That's the question facing three American teenagers in this low-budget, sci-fi tale, that’s shot in the realistic, found footage style of films such as Cloverfield. After encountering a mysterious, subterranean energy, Andrew, Matt and Steve acquire superhuman abilities, including an extraordinary talent for telekinesis. Naturally keen to test these new skills, they start performing silly stunts and practical jokes: having a huge laugh as they fling objects at each other and scare unsuspecting strangers. But the fun sours when their powers grow stronger, and they're tempted into increasingly destructive behaviour. With things suddenly going hideously wrong, their lives spin completely out of control.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."
