Synopsis

Based on acclaimed writer Kazuo Ishiguro’s novel, this haunting film blends romantic drama with science fiction. Spanning decades, it tells the story of the love triangle which emerges between three students at an English boarding school called Hailsham. This imposing but beautiful school is shut off from the outside world and governed by strange rules that make little sense at first.. Soon it becomes clear, this is no ordinary college - nor are the pupils ordinary humans. Joining the ranks of classic existential sci-fi from Frankenstein to Blade Runner, Never Let Me Go is a thought-provoking, if bleak, film on the nature of being human.

What our educators say

"We are currently screening The Wizard of Oz, profound film that it is, and the last film Wall-E. It's been rewarding observing the KS1 6 year olds run the gamut of emotions from wonder to sadness to joy. "
