Five youngsters from different age and social groups give shocking statistics a human face in this powerful documentary on America's failing public education system. Through the emotional experiences of this determined and funny quintet, An Inconvenient Truth director Davis Guggenheim examines how promising kids are having both their academic potential and their entire futures limited by incompetent schools, crippling bureaucracy, and lottery draws that put education down to luck rather than ability. Fun graphics, animation and music bring the film's facts and figures to life, while the inspiring message - that everyone can do their bit to improve things - is as relevant here as in the USA.
This film contains a few uses of mild bad language.
