Synopsis

Based on a true story, this movie sees a very bright, idealistic young man (Emile Hirsch) drop out of college and try to find some answers about himself, nature and life itself, on a long journey that takes him across the US and on to a fateful adventure in the Alaskan wilderness. Hirsch is excellent in this sad and beautiful story.
