Join us for a special National Careers Week event with BAFTA and Into Film, at the iconic BAFTA HQ in Piccadilly, London.  We are offering an inspiring event to schools and colleges to provide information and guidance about careers connected to Film, TV, Animation, Games and VFX (visual effects).

Sessions will include panel discussions and/or presentations with the chance for students to ask their own questions to industry professionals.

During the afternoon, industry professionals will provide an insight into their education and career paths, share the skills that are important in their roles and showcase some of their work. By the end of the visit, your students will have a clearer understanding of the opportunities available to them in the screen industries, and how to develop their skills to take charge of their own career journey.

This event is aimed at young people aged 15-18 with an interest in careers in the screen industries.

This event supports schools and colleges to meet UK wide careers benchmarks, including Gatsby Benchmark 5: Encounters with employers and employees. The event will provide a meaningful encounter with the opportunity for attendees to learn about what work is like, the skills valued in the workplace, recruitment processes or what it takes to be successful.

BAFTA ensures people from all backgrounds will have opportunity to thrive in the screen industries, bringing rich and diverse stories for us to celebrate.

Please note, external food and drink is not permitted in the building. This is a nut-free venue.

Into Film and/or BAFTA will record and photograph this event for repurposing on our websites, YouTube and Vimeo channels and educational materials. We will use notices to make people aware that we are recording and to allow them the chance to opt out of any recording or photography.

This event aims to be accessible to all. Once your booking is confirmed, please email access needs, including visual or hearing adjustments to screencareers@intofilm.org, so that we can do our best to ensure that all needs can be met. Wheelchair spaces are available. This information must be received by 15th February 2026.

Please note:

  • A maximum of 30 student places per school/college are available

  • Schools/colleges are only able to book onto either the morning or afternoon session (not both).

  • This event prioritises bookings from schools who have not participated in careers events at BAFTA HQ

  • This event prioritises bookings from schools where 24% (or more) pupils are eligible for Free School Meals.

Into Film reserves the right to amend or withdraw bookings from schools that do not meet the above criteria.
