Put on your director's hat and prepare for an epic challenge as we get popcorn-ready for The Odyssey, Christopher Nolan's new, epic film which releases in cinemas July 17.
If you'd like to win some exciting prizes including a very cool vlogging camera and iPad read on..
We've partnered with Universal Pictures to invite you to make the everyday, EPIC. Think about an ordinary, everyday task or challenge, and imagine what it could look and feel like if it was played out on the big screen on an epic scale.
Please be advised that The Odyssey has been rated a 15 certificate by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC).
You can choose one of the following routes to take part:
Complete an illustrated 6-panel storyboard of your epic journey. Include descriptions to briefly explain the story and any other technical details you'd like us to know.
Tell a story by taking 6 photos. Include descriptions to briefly explain the story and any other technical details you'd like us to know.
Using only 6 shots, create a short film of your epic take on an everyday event (max. 2 mins).
Tell your story using the power of words! Write 6 max. 100-word paragraphs or verses (max. 600 words in total) of descriptive writing for an epic retelling of an everyday event.
We will not be judging you on technical ability alone and remember - you don't need expensive equipment to tell a great story!
Entries will be judged on the quality and creativity shown by the entrant, particularly their use of original visual, audio and/or written tools to transform "the everyday" into "the epic".
Good luck making your entry. We can't wait to see how you make the everyday, EPIC!
