From cinemas to smartphones, analogue to AI, the ways young people access, create and make sense of media have transformed dramatically over the years. How can we ensure that students have the knowledge and skills to engage meaningfully with this constantly evolving landscape?

Join Into Film, the Media Education Association and The Film & TV Educators Network as they share valuable industry and education insights with film and media educators across the UK.

At this online conferenceyou’ll hear from a wide range of experts about the UK landscape of film and media education.

We’ll explore:

  • ‘Media teaching: present and future’, with the chance to submit your questions in advance to a carefully selected panel of experts

  • Future-looking screen education practice across the UK, with representation from England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales

  • Transferable skills in media, film, games design and creative tech

  •  Low stakes practicals research

The conference runs from 10am to 2.15pm and is followed by an opportunity to network with peers in relaxed regional breakout rooms until 3pm – a space to share experiences, strategies and make new connections.
