In this session, you’ll be introduced to a range of approaches to integrate active film watching and filmmaking in response to archive film.
The session will include a wide variety of examples of archive film, demonstrating how to work with it as a stimulus and focus far beyond the history classroom.
Activities will include using archive film as a stimulus for non-fiction and creative writing, developing effective and creative questioning and investigation techniques in learners and ways to support simple filmmaking for children and young people to create their own archive film.
This session is for educators of 5–18-year-olds. If you are having trouble accessing this session or if you have any additional accessibility requirements, please contact onlinehelp@intofilm.org
