Invite your pupils to join Paddington on his biggest adventure yet in celebration of Paddington in Peru, in cinemas November 8th. Adventures with Paddington is a learning sequence for pupils aged 6-12. 

Your learners will develop practical skills, reflect on facing new experiences, and enhance their understanding of our world. Adventures with Paddington makes cross-curricular links to: 

  • English/literacy 
  • Maths 
  • Geography 
  • Science

A series of travel and exploration-themed activities will engage pupils in helping Paddington prepare to visit Aunt Lucy in Peru. This resource includes: 

Mystery Letter activity  

Pupils will decipher the reason for embarking on an adventure in a Mystery Letter activity. 

Pack Your Bag activity  

In a maths-based challenge, learners will make strategic decisions about what to take with them without exceeding their baggage allowance. 

Write to Paddington home learning activity

Our home learning sheet will enable pupils to consolidate what they've learned using their English/literacy skills. 

 

Enter your young explorers in our competition 

Paddington in Peru depicts Paddington's most far-flung adventure yet, but thanks to his enthusiastic, joyful nature, he can also find adventure closer to home. Our Everyday Adventures competition encourages the idea that adventures can happen anywhere. Challenge your pupils to plan a day out with Paddington for a chance to win a private screening of Paddington in Peru and x30 Paddington themed goody bags for their class, plus a bundle of classic Paddington books from HarperCollins Children's Books for their school!
