Duration

Medium (5-11 activities)

This PowerPoint presentation and teachers’ notes document will guide and support your learners through the process of making their own mental health short film using Into Film’s Think, Plan, Create, Exhibit and Evaluate model.

Young people will engage with film and filmmaking with increased confidence in order to articulate ideas about what mental health means to them.

This resource is part of our second program of youth-made short films which explore themes surrounding mental health and wellbeing.

Both Moving Minds projects to date were made possible with the funds raised at ICAP Charity Days.

Updating our resources

We have developed a large catalogue of educational resources since launching in 2013, and some references and terminology will inevitably have dated as society and language evolves. We are aware of this and will be updating resources when our production schedule allows.

What our educators say

"Our SATs results this year were great, both progress and attainment in reading and writing have improved compared with last year, which we feel has been largely as a result of integrating the Into Film strategies."
